Been there, done that

The following post is a review of my Christmas Holidays and picture heavy!

1. Watched the fireworks in London in New Year's

2. Went to Laduree for gateau, not macarons, and in Harrods, not Champs Elysees.

(At this point I got a bit angry, because they wouldn't allow photos, and helloo, if you take my camera, you take the whole joy of the experience away. But I managed to sneak some with the Iphone hehehe)

(I love the piece of gold on it, so luxurious)

3. Ice skated for the first time by Somerset House (my knee was covered by a big bruise that you do not want to see!)


4. Watched Chicago, the musical and it was breathtaking!


5. Ate one of everything in Winter Wonderland.

6. Made new friends!


7. Watched Avatar in 3D TWICE (and I never do that!)

8. Bought extreme amounts of Lush, more that I should


9. Saw snow



10. Got engaged :D



Couldn't be better........!

Laduree, Paris

Laduree was one of the things I was most excited for in Paris (food makes me happy!).
It's a must to visit to taste authentic french desserts and the highlight of the shop, macarons!
You might remember Carrie from Sex and the City in Paris eating desserts in a luxurious place.

These macarons taste like heaven. Crunchy outside, soft cream on the inside with the most amazing flavours. Eating each one was like a ritual.

Ladurée Champs Elysées

65 days a year, from 7.30am to midnight, Ladurée serves breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and late supper for approximately 3,000 clients daily.

On the first floor, the ‘Eiffel Veranda’ and the outdoor terrace overlook the glamorous Champs Elysées avenue.

The bar, very successful after 7pm, offers any time classic short and long drinks as well as wines and liquors. One can also sit at the bar for a quick lunch.

On the second floor, the five cozy dining rooms, decorated in the ‘Second Empire’ refined style by the French interior designer Jacques Garcia, were dedicated to the 19th century Parisian muses : “Paeva”, “Castiglione”, “Mathilde” but also la Bibliothèque (the Library) and La Chocolaterie (the Chocolate Factory).

The menu of the restaurant is inspired by French regional cooking, as well as other cooking of the world, and is continuously evolving with the seasons and its creations.
